A woman who lives in a free cruise during the middle of the year has revealed all the advantages that come with him, and the only “strange” thing he can’t do.

Christine Kesteloo, who is originally from the United States and lives in the Netherlands when he is not sailing, has visited a whopping 109 countries and counting.

The 44 -year -old woman does not cook, clean, prepare her bed, wash their clothes or pay the food, and everything is thanks to the role of her husband Pete as chief engineer of Holland America Line Cruise Company.

Christine, who documes her life at sea for her almost million followers of Tiktok, revealed that the spouses of crew members can remain on board for free.

The advantages include a 50% discount in extras such as soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, on -board stores and the spa, and a discount rate in Internet access, according to the United Kingdom publication. Mirror.

Christine, former director of a cruise of herself, has tasks 110 cruises from Alaska to date, revealing that she absolutely loves life at sea.

“Our cabin on the essentialy ship comes with my husband’s work: he is a chief engineer who works three months on board and three outside and sails like a ‘wife on board,” he said in a caramban who wrote. Business intern in 2023.

“When we do not live on a cruise, we are in our house in Vlissingen, the Netherlands.”

The veteran cruise has spent 12 years at sea.

“Fortunately, living in the sea is not very new to me, since I used to be a cruise director. I lost my work at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic and since then I have turned to a full -time content creator.”

Since he launched his Tiktok page, he has accumulated 32 million like in his clips, giving viewers a look at his life at sea.

Cabin life

Christine explained that she and Pete always stayed in the same cabin, which is assigned to Pete’s position on the ship.

She said that while the cabin was quite small, it was not smaller than some apartments in New York City.

“Our bathroom is very tight and our space has a strange design: at night, I have to climb on my husband to get out of bed to use the bath,” Insider told Business.

“Fortunately, it also has a balcony in the bow of the ship that is perfect to film sun and sunrise stalls.”

‘It will look a bit weird’

Christine told the mirror She lived on the cruise as a crew, clarifying that she had almost the same privileges as the guests and the crew, with some exceptions.

A restriction for Christine is that it is prohibited from betting on board.

“I am not allowed to sit in a slot machine and play my heart until I win, I would look a little strange if I, like the wife of the chief staff engineer, won a Grand Prix.

He also explained that despite his privileges, he let the guests enjoy facilities such as the pool, the gym, the spa and the sun loungers before being herself.

“If the pool is full, I make sure to go down and give a seat to the guests, it is the right thing to,” he said.

“I totally understand how to give the guests the best moment and I do not think that a member of the crew that takes a seat is the right thing.”

She said that one of the best advantages was not to prepare meals or wash the dishes.

“I have sites sitting in the ship’s dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I don’t feel that way, I can go to the buffet or get pizza or hamburgers and frisar whenever my heart wants. I have to pay for mine,” Skugh, Insider.

“I also love being in a new place every day, which is especially useful for a content creator who always seeks to publish something new. I have to wait until the guests go in a port before disembarking, but I still have a lot of time for a long time.”

She said, however, when it comes to doing work on the ship, she found some differences.

“I buy Internet aboard a discount rate since my husband is a staff member, but the service is not always the best,” he said.

She said, for example, while in the French Polynesian islands, they have eight days without an internet connection on the ship.

“Living in a small space also means that my husband and I are used to being together all the time,” he said.

“Some couples may not prefer this, but we only spend three years of marriage and we are with the constant closure.”

She said another inconvenience was that they could not pet, “but I am lucky to be surrounded by nature.”

When it comes to dizziness, it is no longer something that so much.

“Pete has been at sea for 30 years and I have been at sea for 12 years and after all that time, I don’t need to adapt to the earth legs against the sea, I don’t feel the difference. It doesn’t bother me anymore,” he told The Mirror.

In a clip, he explained that six days at sea passed before catching in Hawaii, and added that the waves were so intense that they reached 4 ma 5 m high.

“The motion in the ocean is not known to me while I live on the ship half of the year. We are again in the waves of 15 to 18 feet (4.5 to 5.5 meters).”

She said they don’t film the guests to give them their privacy, but if you did, “you would see many people fall.”

“The dishes and the glasses and the chairs that make noises cause them to also fall,” he said at the December 2024 clip.

“Tomorrow is our last day at sea and then we will be in Hawaii. You need six days to reach Hawaii and, of course, the Pacific Ocean is unpredictable: it can be soft or rocky as it has had bone.”

Christine, who has enjoyed free food and accommodation every day for about 10 years, described it as a “quite sweet life that some could judge.”

“But I know it’s really a privilege to enjoy the world in this way.”
