New York Fashion Week may be winding down, but the star power certainly isn’t.
Madonna’s model daughter Lourdes Leon skulked down the Luis de Javier runway Wednesday among a cadre of other models, including Julia Fox.
The Valentine’s Day show, held at the Angel Orensanz Foundation (a former synagogue and religious space converted into an event venue), gave churchgoers something to pray about, channeling the devil himself with horns, latex and “Hellraiser” spikes.
Leon walked down the bonafide church aisle in a red leather minidress with piping down the front, small red horns on the bodice, red thigh-high stockings and a similarly horned black and yellow ball cap.
Fox closed the show in a fittingly horny number for the holiday – literally. Large horns protruded from her chest as she modeled a form-fitting denim floor-length dress with piping on the bodice and down the front of the strapless design.
“It’s slippery!” she proclaimed walking off the runway backstage.
The runway at the venue was indeed slick under the shoes, as showgoers walked down it to find their seats almost an hour after the event’s start time after waiting in the chilly night air of February for more than 30 minutes.
The collection from the London-based designer, whose creations have been worn by Kylie Jenner and Lizzo, incorporated slinky gowns with trains, grommets, the brand’s signature angular bags, leather, a hint of nudity and multiple sets of horns, including in Fox’s final look.
Fox sat front row the evening prior at LaQuan Smith’s show and modeled during Alexander Wang’s pre-calendar NYFW show last week.
Leon walked her first New York Fashion Week almost five years ago, making her debut at Gypsy Sport’s Spring 2019 show, wearing shredded jeans, chunky dad sneakers and an elaborate shell bra.
