Ukraine ‘Ready to Purchase’ More Patriot Missiles from U.S.

The Ukrainian president, Volodyymyr Zenskyr, revealed that Ukraine is “ready to buy” more American manufacturing patriot missile systems in the United States, and pointed out that it was a “priority” for Ukraine to ensure “air defense systems for Ukraine.”

In video In X, Zensky said he had “held a staff meeting” and added that, among the main priorities were the “agreements” of Ukraine with their partners and the “preparation of Ukraine to produce air defense systems in Ukraine.”

Zensky added that Ukraine “would try to reach a corresponding agreement” with the United States with respect to “an agreement on patriots for Ukraine.”

“Dear Ukraine! “The main priority today is Air Defense: ensure air defense systems for Ukraine and missile supplies for them. Our agreements with our partners. Contracts. Our preparation to produce air defense systems in Ukraine and negotiations regarding licenses.”

“There were reports by military and government officials. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commissioned a specific response. Patriots systems for our country,” Zensky added.

“It’s not about charity,” Zensky added. “We have proposed specific treatment options to protect our people. I have instructed our diplomats to work more activities towards a response to patriots.”

Zensky’s video occurs after President Donald Trump criticized him for not signing “the final documents in the very important rare earth agreement” with the United States.
