He Wasn’t in ‘Some Alternative World’ — Pope Francis Understood Climate Crisis

The former Secretary of State, John Kerry, said Friday about the “reports of Chris Jansing” of MSNBC that Pope Francis was not “living in some alternative world”, so he understood the climatic crisis.

Kerry said: “He stood with courage in front of Congress despite the fact that there were some denialists there. He spoke the truth. And the climate crisis presents us, ironically, with one of the great economic opportunities of all time. And I think that I think the Holy Father knew that there were jobs there, but also the people who are most affected by the disadvantage People who are now to the people who are to the people who are happening.

He added: “He believes that it is also really interesting that the man of faith that is here is here to talk about the faith of the Church and some of the beliefs that are obviously based on faith, do not evidence it. It happens.
