Autumn is easily my favorite time of the year. At the beginning of September, everything feels dyed of that “right” son of cozy-that invites you to press pause, get your favorite sweater and taste the small things. There is something about the golden light of September that whispers silently: “We are going to reduce speed.” If you are looking for things to do in September, trust me: you have come to the right place.

Appede

September always feels like an opening, an invitation to enter new rhythms without the weight of expectation. I have realized how easy it is for me to support myself in discipline as a form of control, but the truth is that the moments of feeling more punished lately come from softened, the letters remain resting, saying that not without guilt or choosing the presence. I am realizing that the changes that last are not forced, they are allowed. With that in mind, here are some ways to stay energized and inspired this month.

A soft nudge

Maybe he wonders What is a little thing I can do today to invite a little ease to my morning?

Immediate magazine

Write two small rituals that would make your morning feel softer. You may be illuminating a candle before your coffee or read three pages of something beautiful before your list steals your attention.

Recommendation of the editor of the month

“The best part of my morning is to sprinkle this in my whole face. I am a great believer in the niocinamide to minimize the shoots and dark points. This offers my daily dose in the best way.” – Langa Chinyoka, beauty editor

Of Breathing space

Go ahead, 30 soft invitations to savor the season, without pressure, only simple joys to delay.

30 things to do in September to stay inspired this month

September 1-7

1. Celebrate the last unofficial day of the summer. Lago lounge, hang out in a barbecue or simply enjoy your own company. (Personally, I love to give my house a good deep cleaning). Do what makes you feel better, it’s your day off!

2. Make your inbox shine. One of the best wines I have found to combat anxiety by email is to infuse my entry tray with a little more joy. Subscribe to an inspiring newsletter: who knows, you can wait for your email feed time.

3. Change your lunch time routine. Inspir with the thesis rest ideas for intentional lunch for a real * Restart *. Ah, and if you are looking for something new in Munch in Medium, the Camille Mediterranean Mediterranean Inspiration Salad recipe is everything.

4. Read a beautiful book. Sometimes you are in it for the plot. And sometimes, it is the words in themselves that keep you captivated. These are the most impressive books we have read.

5. Join (or start!) A dinner club. Like some who love to eat and socialize, a dinner club is one of the perfect ways to talk about their favorite dishes. Learn everything about starting your own dinner club.

6. Visit a flower market. Trust me, there are many flowers to find in autumn. It is one of the most inspiring things to do in September! Alternative: pass through its local merchant Joe’s and explore the flowers: the supermarket stores an endless variety of floral options.

7. Romantice your Sunday. Turn on a candle, turn on a welcoming playlist and take an hour to prepare for next week. That could mean planning some simple meals, ordering the house or writing down its three main priorities for Monday. A little intention is very useful for creating space for calm. Follow Camille’s advice to make Sunday your favorite day of the week.

September 8-14

8. Learn to weave. While weaving is a delight throughout the year, it is also one of my favorite things in September with imprudent in abandonment. YouTube videos are abundance or you can visit their local knitting store and take a look at their class schedule (many sacrifice options in person and virtual).

9. Collect a new autumn candle. Is there anything better than breaking a new candle that personifies autumn? While I mean pumpkin spices, there are many other autumn aromas to choose from. This is my current favorite (justice for vanilla candles!).

10. Plan a costume update. Transition your closet with welcoming tissues, boots and autumn colors. (Maybe doing a closet cleaning while you are in that?)

11. Try a new autumn recipe. Experiment with the manufacture of homemade pumpkin bread, spices or pumpkin risotto. Now is the time to break all your favorite cozy autumn recipes.

25. Create an autumn playlist. Autumn is about creating a cozy and quiet environment. I love playing Gregory Alan Isakov, José González or Fleet Foxes to establish the perfect tone.

26. Change your morning routine. With the changing season and the coldest mornings, that AM training could become less intuitive. Instead, claim what your body and mind are craving. Try a diary diary or reading in bed after waking up, drinking hot tea and preparing pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast.
