As CBS and its matrix company Paramount Global Navigate a high -risk demand President Donald Trump, the conglomerate of the media solved in silence another demand claiming racial discrimination against white and heterosexual male employees.

In 2024, the former script coordinator of the “Seal team” and writer Brian Beneker demanded Global Paramount, CBS Entertainment and CBS Studios for illegal discrimination to repeatedly deny Himer’s advance based on his race, sex and sexual orientation.

According to America First legal (AFL), which represented Beneker in the case, both parties finally general to an agreement after what the main lawyer of the awards, Nick Barry, described as satisfactory movements of Paramount to public, equity and diversity.

“America First legal is pleased to see Paramount and CBS publicly retreated their Dei requirements and return to considerations based on merit. Diversity quotas that discriminate on the basis or illegal race. Othy Side Intertainment Others”

Fox News Digital communicated with CBS and Paramount By comment.

A person from the Aphles also told Fox News Digital that there will be no more legal actions in the case.

The original demand said that, despite working in the program since its first season in 2017, Beneker was repeatedly denied the promotion of full -time personnel writer, while minority writers were hired with little or no experience.

When facing the showrunner, Beneker said they told him not to “verify any diversity appointment” to guarantee the progress.

The AFL also cited comments from the then CEO of CBS George Cheeks in 2020 announcing efforts to ensure that 40% of all writing rooms have “Bipoc representation” for the 2021-22 season, with the aim of increasing the 50% figure for 202223.

In February 2025 Paramount Global Heads Informed Employees who would be retreating thesis initiatives following Trump’s re-election and anti-Dei policies.

This announcement occurred when Paramount Global agreed to mediation with Trump’s legal team earlier this month, indicating a $ 20 billion demand agreement against them.

Trump is looking for $ 20 billion in a lawsuit against CBS, claiming the electoral interference about its management of an “60 minutes” interview last year with the then vice president Kamala Harris. The president accused the network of helping his 2024 opponent through the deceptive edition only one week before the presidential elections.
