Qatar hints at progress in Gaza truce talks as UN urges lifting of blockade | Israel-Palestine conflict News

Qatar says that ‘a bit of progress’ made in the high -hames high the fire conversations while worsening the food crisis in the Palestinian territory.

Meanwhile, the UN warned that the Palestinians in Gaza face each other Threat of hunger As the warehouses of the World Food Program throughout the territory are empty after running out of supplies last week.

On Sunday, the agency of relief and works of the UN for refugees in Palestine (UNRWA) said that “the siege must be raised,” and added that people in Gaza “have become a cycle of violence and mortal deprivation.”

In a previous statement, Unrwa said there, nothing “can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.”

On Saturday, Jonathan Whittall, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCA) in Gaza, accused Israel or “weapons” helps to deny her to the displaced Palestinians.

“Today, people do not survive in Gaza. Those who are not being killed with bombs and bullets are dying slowly,” he said. “There is no justification for the denial of humanitarian assistance. And humanitarian aid should never be armed.”
