Tampa – Ben Rice was forced to stop cooking on Saturday.

The hitter designated to the hot springs of the Yankees had to leave his game against the Rays shortly after he was beaten in the left elbow by an 88 mph sliding control in the upper part of the fourth entrance.

Rice had an obvious pain and was treated by the manager Aaron Boone and a coach, but stayed to direct the bases.

Then, after scoring the Sacrifice fly of Austin Wells, Rice returned to the bench that still favored the elbow and seconds later they headed towards the steps to the club house followed by a coach.

The next time Rice’s place arrived in the alignment, Pablo Reyes Pinch hit the upper part of the sixth.

He held a contusion of the left elbow and went to a local hospital for radiographs and a computerized tomography.

Rice was hit by two releases on Saturday and scored twice.

I was hitting .292 with an OPS of 1,003, emerging as a semi-regular batter and a great left-handed bat to help the Yankees survive the Absence of lesions of Giancarlo Stanton.
