Jacob Elordi planned break from acting before  Emerald Fennell movie

Shoutout to Emerald Fennell.

Jacob Elordi revealed that he was briefly moving away from acting until he was sacrificed a role in the next film by the Oscar winning director “Wuthering Heights”.

Elordi also praised his co -star of “Wuthering Heights” Margot Robbie for his “incredible” performance in the film.

“She is a living cable. I am very, very excited that people see it,” he said. “She is a beautiful actor and gave it, a lot.”

Fennell, 39, directs, writes and produces the adaptation of Emily Brontë’s romantic novel. The film comes out in February 2026. Fennell, Robbie and Elordi previously worked on “Saltburn”.

Robbie, who plays Catherine Earnshaw with Heathcliff de Elordi, previously praised Fennell cinema in a January 2024 interview with Variety.

Then, Elordi will star in Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro at the end of this year. He is playing Frankenstein’s monster, while Oscar Isaac plays Frankenstein.

Elordi told Indiewire that he and the 60 -year -old bull saw Frankenstein’s films of the 1930s to prepare for filming.

“I think I am all the creatures films ever made. Strangely, Guillermo gave me a baby book, a baby development book, at the beginning of the filming. [Those] Two references I remember a lot, “he said.

As for television, Elordi has a main role in the new Australian miniseries of 5 parts “The narrow path to the deep north”, based on Richard Flanagan’s novel in 2013. It plays a war doctor in the 1940s that is recruited in the Philippines to help in the construction of the Burma Railroad.

Elordi also recently confirmed that he began to film Season 3 or “Euphoria” In which he plays Nate Jacobs.

“I just shoot my first days this week,” he said Entertainment tonight Last week. “It was incredible. You also have to understand that we have grown up in that. We grew from the last adolescents to adults in that program.”

“It was beautiful. It was really moving to return and enter that environment, it was like entering a time capsule,” Elordi added. “Nothing had changed.”
