A Boeing aircraft for its use by a Chinese airline landed at the American production center on the planemanero on Saturday, a victim of bilateral Tit-for Tat rates launched by President Trump in his world commercial offensive.

The 737 Max, which was intended for China’s Xiamen airlines, landed in the Boeing field in Seattle, according to a Reuters witness. It was painted with Xiamen Libase.

The plane, which made fuel replenishment stops in Guam and Hawaii on its 5,000 -mile return trip, was one of several 737 Max aircraft that were waiting at the Zhoushan de Boeing completion center for the final work and delivery to a Chinese carrier.

Trump this month High baseline rates On Chinese imports to 145%. In retaliation, China has Imposed a 125% rate On the goods of the USA. A Chinese airline that receives a Boeing plane could be paralyzed by tariffs, since a new 737 Max has a market value of around $ 55 million, according to IBA, an aviation consultant.

It is not clear what part made the decision that the aircraft returned to the United States. Boeing did not respond immediately to the request for comments. Xiamen did not respond to the request for comments.

The return of 737 Max, the best selling model of Boeing, is the last sign of interruption of the new delivery of aircraft of a collapse in the tax free of taxes of the aerospace industry.

China, directed by President Xi Jinping, has responded to rates or his. AP

The tariff war and the apparent U -turn on deliveries occur when Boeing has been recovering from an import freezing of almost five years in 737 Max Jets and an earlier round of commercial tensions.

The confusion about the change of tariffs could leave the delivery of airplanes in the limbo, and some CEO of airlines say they would defeat the delivery of airplanes instead of salary tasks, analysts say.
