The fate of the giant season was going to determine how they worked on this road trip of 10 games against the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Philis and Los Angeles de Los Angeles. Very ball still remains. But the swing between countries was based on an early fire test, one that in charge of facing two or the best baseball teams.

Despite its excellent game in New York and Philadelphia, the trip ended with a groan.

The nearby Ryan Walker inherited a three-run advantage in the lower part of the ninth entrance, but flew the rescue, allowing four races when San Francisco lost to Los Angeles, 5-4, on Easter Sunday in the Angel Stadium, forcing the giant trip of the Tetete.

“You’re going to have a bad days. Unfortunately, it happened today,” said manager Bob Melvin to journalists in Anaheim.

Walker, who turned the five salvages into the game after 10 of 10 of 10 in the possibilities of salvation last season, stepped on the mound with a comfortable 4-1 advantage. But it was quickly apparent that Walker did not have his typical command. He walked to Mike Trout to start his excursion in a payment plumber that appeared to cut the area, but the arbiter of Home Diaz plate called the ball. Then, former giant Jorge Soler connected a single, bringing the drawing race to the plate.

Logan O’Hoppe connected a single to load the bases, then Walker pierced Net Zach to give the angels a race and shrink the advantage to 4-2.

Jo Adell later played the hero, pulling Walker’s 1-2 sinking to the left garden, and the Angels asked to fly. Soler scored easily. Kevin Newman, pinches for O’Hoppe, he did. The third base coach Eric Young Mr. Waved Home Neto, who scored the winning race with a head of the head that barely defeated San Francisco’s relay. The giants challenge the call, but it was repellent.

Walker’s Blown Save cost Justin Lander his first victory with the giants after the 42 -year -old delivered an old departure, allowing a race won in six tickets with six strikeouts. Five beginnings in his term with San Francisco, Verlander remains stuck in 262 victories in his career.

“I feel that I have been tending in the right direction,” Verlander told reporters in Anaheim. “It was good to give us a better chance to win today.”

The League entered the game with an effectiveness of 6.75, the worst mark in the initial rotation, but withdrew the first nine batters he faced before allowing a double initial to Taylor Ward to start the room. The right only needed 31 releases to complete the first three entries, but worked through a fourth input of 33 pitches, managing to put another zero on the board even though the angels carry the bases.

“It is one of those situations in which (Los Angelinos initiator) Yusei (Kikuchi) was throwing well,” Verlander said about leaving the jam. “You received the bases, and you just thought it was the fourth post, your son to know that the game is at stake right there. Then, he felt great.”

The giants scored the first race of the game at the top of the fifth when Willy Adames led to Heliot Ramos with a single, but the Angels obtained that race just when Net settled in the first launch of Lander in the lower part of the fifth.

San Francisco resumed the advantage in the sixth in the first home run of the Sam Huff receiver with his new team, a two-run shot that gave the giants a 3-1 advantage. Adames added an insurance execution in the seventh with another RBI single to extend the advantage to 4-1.

That advantage of three races seemed to be sufficient, special after Camilo Doval and Tyler Rogers threw goals without goals in the seventh and eighth, respectively. Finally, it wasn’t.

The giants will now return for what will be an emotional reference class of two series. They will start with the Milwaukee brewers, the team for which Adames played since 2021-24 before signing a franchise record Seven years and $ 182 million With orange and black. On Saturday, with the Texas Rangers of Bruce Bochy in the city, the giants will celebrate the career of Brandon Crawford, who He announced his retirement This trade.
