Mikal Bridges brought the weight of five first round selections when he left the ground.

The whole season, these expectations were won. But here there was Bridges’s opportunity on Monday to come with Big Shot, to redirect conversation about his season to change the first impressions as a Knick, to forget those selections of five rounds.

But like the Bridges season, that jumper fell short in recent seconds with a three -point deficit.
