Joy Behar told his coanfitations on Wednesday about ABC’s “vision” that President Donald Trump’s plan to offer financial assistance to new mothers is to increase the number of “white children.”

Partial transcription as follows:

Sunny Hostin: I want to rethink the problem a bit because I look at something like this, thesis proposals, I want to know why and I want to know who is doing them. And so, when I investigated that, they say that the birth rate of the United States is decreasing, however, in 2024 there was a 1% increase in the births of the United States., But that increase was with Hispanic mothers and Asian mothers. Aha! So, they don’t seem worried about that increase. They seem more concerned about a decrease in other populations.

Listen: say it.

Hostin: No, I think I’ve said enough.

Alyssa Farah Griffin: What is that based on thought?

Listen: White children, I will say it.

Hostin: Well, it is only based on one study. The other thing –

Griffin: Have you said that anywhere? I feel that, just to be fair.

Listen: Just who?

Griffin: Have you said this is to aim only to white families?

Hostin: Oh, I didn’t say that. You have to read the statistics.

Listen: it is among the lines. They will not say it.

Hostin: The statistics simply cool. I’m just giving facts.
