Nalanda Learning, a technology -based education provider, plans to raise ₹ 50 million rupees to give skills to preschool teachers and caregivers, a company official said on Saturday.
The company is in conversations with high -network people (HNIS) for raising money in a basic private placement, said Chris Raybould, CEO of Nalanda Learning.
The funds will be raised in the current financial year, he said.
Raybould, a Wales educator, said: “The National Education Policy (NEP) has ordered training for skills for preschool teachers.
The preschool years include nursery classes, Kg Kg and Kg Senior, according to the NEP, which is in force of the 2025 academic year, Raybould said, adding that classes are considered as the first three years of the Foundation.
“The company is in advanced conversations with HNIS to raise 50 million rupees in a private placement base. The funds will be raised this financial year and will be used to provide training training purposes in training,” he said.
Nalanda Learning co -founder Tamal Mukherjee said the skills training course will last 30 hours and will be taught online.
“Teachers in service can also participate in the skill training program,” he said.
“Providing skills training is an integral part of the false. The certificate of granting the agency is the Board of Management and Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills under the Ministry of Development of Skills and Entrepreneurship,” he said.
“The plans are underway to give preschool skills training in some gulf country,” Mukherjee said.
Nalanda Learning also directs a chain of foundations schools under the Little Laureates brand.
