What qualifications and issues do you think prodigy works best?
I believe that prodigy is ideal for children around 6 years old to the age of intermediate school, perhaps up to 12 years or less. I think the prodigy works well for language arts because it is very attractive. Students feel they are playing a video game, one that would choose to play alone, even outside the school.
Tell us how you use prodigy in your classroom.

First, I assign all students the diagnostic placement evaluation. Then, I allow the prodigy to adapt to the individual needs of each student depending on their growth areas. I have learning centers three times a week. Duration time, students always have a rotation where prodigy plays for 10 to 15 minutes. We also have “technological time” on Thursdays, where students can play a variety or academic games for about 25 to 30 minutes. Prodigy is one of the options, and it is a very popular option!

How easy was the prodigy to use and implement in your classroom?
Prodigy so Easy to implement in my classroom. I just added it to my smart account, I imported my class list from the Google classroom, I assigned the diagnostic evaluation, and we were ready to start. He probably took less than 5 minutes to settle. Then, I just had to show my students what the prodigy icon was like to find it intelligent, and that was all!
Is this product aligns with specific curricular standards or guidelines you know?
In my classroom, we use prodigy for the practice of mathematics, and I have seen my students interact with games that align with the standards I teach. It covers the first -degree common basic standards, including operations and algebraic thinking, where students solve problems with addition and subtraction, and understanding the value of the place to add and subtract. Prodigy also admits measurement standards and data such as measurement lengths, counting time and interpretation of data. These are just some of the standards that I have observed that it addresses in class.
How did your students react to prodigy?

The first day I presented prodigy in my classroom, it took students approximately one minute to decide that they loved it. I heard exclamations like: “I like this!” And “Can we play this again tomorrow?” That afternoon, after the students went home, I received multiple messages from the parents asking how their son could access the mathematics game with the icon “The Orange P” to play at home. As soon as I informed the families that Prodigy had added the leg to our intelligent account, I nocked the right number or answers in increasing my teacher’s page.
What makes prodigy special or unique compared to other mathematical resources that it has used?
I felt absolutely what my students enjoyed prodigy from the moment they are to use this game. Prodigy is an instruction tool aligned by standards and time savings that involve students with the gamified learning they supply. As a teacher who has a lot of experience in instructing children of a primary age, I understand how important the learning based on the success of the students can be. Every time I can “deceive” the children to learn, I am in favor!
What were the two main features that you liked most prodigy?

I love how Prodigy automatically differentiates instruction for each student based on their performance in the diagnostic evaluation. This ensures that the objective is addressed and provides additional practice to increase the scores and performance of the students. I also appreciate the characteristics of robust reports, which help me understand the individual performance and class level. These reports allow me to customize lessons plans for the instruction of mathematics throughout the group and the small group.
