The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) has received the withdrawal of all lots of cosmetics Pirinherbsan, Fontdeblanc, mythological and extraroma, cites the breach of manufacturing regulations.

The four brands were produced by Global Region, based in Barcelona, SL, which has now ordered that it lose cosmetics manufacturing activity. According to AEMP, the company was operating without the legally required manufacturing statement and did not comply with good manufacturing practices described in the Royal Decree of Spain 85/2018.

The inspection, carried out by the Directorate of Health Management and Regulation of Catalonia, also found that the products lacked adequate labeling in accordance with the legislation of cosmetics. AEMPS has advised retailers to eliminate the products affected by the shelves and those that consumers stop using them immediately.

The withdrawal highlights the continuous regulatory application in the cosmetics sector, partly around GMP compliance and product labeling. The Spain movement follows broader efforts throughout the EU to ensure that personal care products are safe, properly labeled and manufactured in certified conditions.
