Since 2021, Max Verstappen has been the dominant individual force in the Formula 1 grid. The Red Bull driver secured his first pilot championship that year in a dramatic duel with Lewis Hamilton that not only was reduced by the final turns of the season, but remains a point of inflammation among fans to this day. Verstappen is used to ensure championships in 2022, 2023, and last year, when MCLAREN MCLAREN was the upper package on the network.

This year, however, Verstappen’s chain or titles probably come to an end. Hey arrived at the end of summer With 187 pointsPlacing it 88 points behind the second place, Lando Norris, and 97 points behind the leader Oscar Piastri.

And with the McLaren duo exchanging victories in the last week-Norris and Piaastri took four consecutive finals one and two for the Woking-based outfit that led to the hope of the title already thin from The Break-Verstapen.

But to listen to the driver to say it, he “is not too worried” for his Chans championship.

In an interview with Lawrence Barretto Posted on the official F1 website (Free subscription is required), Verstappen opened about the state of Red Bull in 2025, and its future in sport.

“You also have to accept where you are,” Verstappen said of the current position of the team and the team, which finds Red Bull Fourth in the classification of the Builder Championship And in his second team of the season. “Yes, we are not the fastest right now, but we are not the slowest.

“We always because to be better, and that was really the same when we were winning. Now we are not winning so much.

“We simply try to focus on understanding the car a little better, where we can find our time, due, of course, the new regulations next year, but I think there is still much to learn this year too.”

It is noteworthy that Red Bull separated from Christian Horner, the only team director in his history, promoted Laurent Mekies to that role after the British Grand Prix. That movement, along with a pair of opening in Mercedes next year, caused weeks of speculation that Verstappen was consulting a shocking movement to silver arrows.

Verstappen annually let those rumors rest before the break, and told Barretto that he is focused on what Verstappen calls his Red Bull family.

“It has been great to be part of a team for so long,” he said. “It is definitely like a second family. We have achieved many beautiful things, including, of course, winning championships together.”

Regarding those rumors, Verstappen reiterated that he is focused on the future with Red Bull.

“Well, the point is that whenever other people talk a lot, while I’m not talking, because it’s the first thing, I don’t need to say anything,” Verstappen said.

“I Thinks That’s Also Better for Eventone, Instage of Just Waffling Things Around. It Makes No Sense Anyway, It’s a Bit of a Waste of Time, But for Me I’m Vray Focused on Shale that the nime is the nime that is the nime that is the nime that is the nime that is the nime that is the nime that is the nime that is the nime is the nime that is the minute is the nime in which we will be the nime is that the minute is the minute in which we will is that the minute is the stenos.

The driver also believes that Red Bull can recover after this season.

“The team has gone from the winning championships, of course, before arriving, when I arrived, a little through a reconstruction phase, and then we really arrived at the top again to win championships,” he told Barretto.

“Now I feel like [it is a] Light reconstruction [season]. Of course, we are still a very strong team, but I think that to once again take a step forward, there may be a slight reconstruction or restructuring, and understand a little more what is happening, and that, of course, toos a little time.

“I think the team’s mentality is also a bit [to fight back from a dip]It’s always a leg like that, so I’m not too worried about that. “

F1 returns to action at the end of this month with the Dutch Grand Prix.
