Conservative leaders and commentators are reflecting on life, legacy and the lasting impact of Charlie KirkRemembering how Turning Point founder USA shapes a generation of conservative young people and left a lasting brand in the movement.
Turning Point USA is an organization initiated by Kirk in 2012 with the mission of “identifying, educating, training and organizing students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government”, according to the Group’s website.
Fox News Digital spoke with conservative voices Rob SmithArynne Wexler, Lily Kate and Amir Odom on Kirk’s impact on their lives and the United States.
“I must basically all my career in conservative movement and conservative media to Charlie Kirk,” said Smith, a political commentator.

Smith attributes his career to Kirk.
“I would like to do so if it hinders you. If it hurts to see something in me,” he said.
Smith applauded Kirk for recognizing the need for a variety of voices within the conservative movement. He contributed to the organization of 2019 to 2022, and described himself as one of his “first taxpayers.”
“I left as a conservative in 2018. It was the non -traditional conservative, this black gay type. I am like, you know, one of the first people to really do it.”
Wexler, a conservative and speaker political commentator at Turning Point USA “Leadership Summit of Young Women” in June, applauded Kirk for his effort to facilitate conversations on university campuses.

“He is the person in the conservative movement who really cared about the next generation of America … and he was the person who decided not to give up university campuses.”
Wexler Continued, “Charlie Kirk Was A Man Who Never Walked Out Of The Fight and Neither Should We. So This is the Time To Stand by Your Values, to Register Voters, To Create Chapters at Your School. Kate, a conservative influence and former Turning Point ambassador, said about Kirk: “He is an original American. He is a national treasure. And we are lucky to be close to Charlie Kirk.”
Kate developed the impact after Kirk’s murder, describing the spiritual “rebirth” that happens.
“I have been watching videos about or hundreds of thousands of people who really appear to Church. I have text messages and DMS of people who say, due to Charlie, I opened my Bible for the first time in 10 years. For the first, I picked up Jesus because Charlie told me. ”

“Charlie was really the leader of the movement, as special the leader of the youth movement. He wanted people to join, join the hands, get off his phones, to stop moving, have real conversations,” Kate said.
Kate said: “Charlie was always cordial, always a child. Many, many times I have seen it debate in person and online, and it is perfectly respectful.”
Amir Odom, who houses a YouTube Show, he said about Kirk: “He referred a lot to really promoted people to use their voice effectively.”
Ody attended the Young Black Leadership Summit in 2018, an event organized by Turning Point, where young blacks black were invited to the White House and “then attended a conference led by a group of black actors, black artists of a different lens,” Oddom described.
Ody said about the conservative movement that advances: “I only see that it becomes stronger. I see that it becomes more unified, and I see that it becomes, you know, only bigger than it is now.”

“We are seeing record numbers for people who register to create turning point chapters, in secondary schools and university campuses. We are seeing that more people are vocal online. We are seeing another mass exodus of people who leave The left“Odom said.
Kate said: “Now is the time to face Triple, quadruple the number of events we are doing in person, have more conversations, encourage more debate, just to carry the torch that established us.”
“There will never be another Charlie Kirk,” said Smith. “So there must be thousands or Mini Charlie Kirks.”
“It was exactly the type of American that every young man should strive to be, and the type of man with whom every woman should try to marry,” Kate said.
On Thursday, Turning Point USA announced that Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, will become CEO and president of the Board. The group said in X and Instagram: “Charlie told multiple executives that this is what he wanted in case of his death.”
