The Dynamite Diamond Ring is one of AEW’s most prestigious awards. It was first awarded in 2019 and former world champion MJF won all of its editions.

The fans are very happy because Tony Khan is getting the key back. All Elite Wrestling has announced a Battle Royale for Dynamite: Holiday Bash, taking place this week in Manchester, England. The episode will be three hours long and fans are hoping it works.

The winner of the battle royal will have the opportunity to compete for the AEW World Title at Dynamite: Maximum Carnage in January.

Many names have been announced for the high-profile match. But here are three possible candidates who could win it.

#3. Antonio Bowen

AEW star Anthony Bowens could certainly win the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal. The 34-year-old is a former world tag team champion and one of the most talented names in the company. This year he underwent a character change and has improved tenfold in the ring.

Bowens is openly gay and his dream is to become the Jacksonville-based company’s first gay world champion. He issued the following statement following the conclusion of All Elite Wrestling Dynasty earlier this year.

“I’m focused on becoming a singles competitor and achieving my goals in that field. I’m fully prepared to work hard, continue to earn everything I have, and ultimately win gold. And I would love to be AEW’s first openly gay singles champion. That’s a big goal for me, and it all starts here and now,” Bowens said.

The Five Tools Player could achieve his goal sooner than expected. Could win the battle royale and become world champion.

#2. AEW National Champion Ricochet

Bounce is the inaugural and reigning AEW National Champion. He won this title in a 12-man Casino Gauntlet Match at Full Gear last month. He joined the company last year and is arguably one of the best heels on the roster. Additionally, The Human Highlight Reel is the leader of The Demand, a faction that, apart from him, consists of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.

The former WWE star is a strong contender to win this year’s edition of the Dynamite Diamond Ring. If he succeeds and becomes the next world champion, he will become a double champion. He could win the battle royal with the help of his teammates.

#1. Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF)

mjf He is undoubtedly a future Hall of Famer. He is one of the best of the modern era and has won every edition of the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Although he hasn’t been announced for the previous matchup, there is a strong possibility that he will return to in-ring action and win it.

The Salt of the Earth has made this award what it is today. He previously won a Casino Gauntlet Match at All In for a future AEW World Championship opportunity. If he also wins the next matchup, he will have a big advantage, that is, two shots at the world title.
