Bondi Sands Recalls Zinc Mineral Sunscreens Over Safety Concerns

THE FACT THAT? Bondi Sands has recalled its Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ body lotion and facial lotion due to potential health risks.

THE DETAILS The recall affects specific lots of SPF50+ body lotion (120 ml) and facial lotion (60 ml), identified by product codes 2512-0024 and 2602-0295. Officials found that some units showed signs of separation and uneven texture, which could affect product performance. The sunscreens, manufactured in Australia, have been withdrawn from sale and consumers are advised to stop using them immediately and return them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement.

THE WHY? Separating ingredients can result in inconsistent SPF protection, increasing the risk of sunburn and posing a potential health risk to consumers.
