Hot on the heels of Monday’s preview with David Corenswet man of steel Leaving a video message for your cousin, DC Studios just released a new full-length trailer for their upcoming summer superhero movie overseen by James Gunn.supergirl“.

It’s a much more urgent and serious matter in this heartwarming 3-minute trailer, as Krem has poisoned Kara’s poor superdog, Krypto, and she enlists the help of boisterous bounty hunter Lobo to retrieve an emergency antidote to save the dynamic dog she’s raised since he was a puppy.
We still see Supergirl as a depressed outcast, with shaggy blonde hair, an introverted attitude, and oversized sunglasses, but here she takes on a more melancholic tone by emphasizing her relationship with Krypto. Look out for Kara’s intense eye heat ray blasts and some graceful flying as she and Lobo battle Krem and his minions outside of Earth.
We’re still really undecided regarding the final casting of Alcock (“House of the Dragon”), but make no mistake about Lobo’s charismatic chaos and the homicidal gaze projected by Schoenaerts’ psychopathic villain. “Supergirl” co-stars are David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze and Jason Momoa as the rowdy interstellar mercenary Lobo.
