Clayton Young is one of my favorite athletes. He is positive and has never turned down an interview with me, which I appreciate. At the humid World Championships in Tokyo, Clayton gave the assembled media a careful summary of his career, which did not go as planned. Clayton is a class act.

Brooks welcomes Clayton Young and takes important step forward on performance-driven roster
Today, running streams announced the signing of the elite marathoner Young Clayton to its roster of road stars, marking a significant development in the high-performance racing brand’s strategy, which prioritizes the team to become a leader at the highest level of competition. Young will bring his data-driven technical approach to footwear and performance to collaborate with the brands’ athlete performance and innovation development teams. Young will look to add to his already decorated career in partnership with Brooks, including the NCAA Championship title in the 10,000m, a second-place finish at the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials, a top-10 finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics and a three-time top-10 finisher at the World Majors.

Brooks’ current visitor list includes CJ Albertson, Casey Clinger, Zach Panning, Colin Bennie, and Turner wiley in addition to Jess McClain, Susanna Sullivan, Erika Kemp, Amanda Vestri, and Aliphine Tuliamuk on the women’s team. Together, the team has achieved more than 20 national championships, 30 top-ten finishes at major marathons and world championships, two world record holders and four Olympic appearances.
