Quantum Health is one of the largest and most original navigation companies. Dayne Williams came out of retirement to take over as CEO after Zane Burke retired for personal reasons (to care for a family member). Quantum has added two acquisitions in recent months, Embold Health, which analyzes the best doctors to go to, and CirrusMD, which is an online primary care and telehealth company. I started asking Dayne, with health plans and primary care doctors, why do we need navigators? That’s a layup for him, but it’s a great explanation of how Quantum is the front door/first call for its clients’ employees (what they call first-time interception) and where it’s headed with that trust.Matthew Holt
