The former Manchester United star, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and his wife, former world tennis player Ana Ivanović, are subject to separation rumors, according to German newspaper Bild.
It is said that the couple, who married in 2016 and has three children together, is having a disguise time that deals with long distance.
Schweinsteiger, 40, is currently in Yakarta, while Ivanović, 37 lives mainly in Belgrade in his country of origin of Serbia with his children, according to the report.
The couple has not yet publicly approached the reports, and their management team told The Outlet that Schweinsteiger and Ivanović do not discuss private matters.
The former winner of the German World Cup and Ivanović, who won the 2008 France Open, have only made rare public appearances together this year.
His last publication on social networks came when they visited a vacation market in Vienna last November.
Schweinsteiger announced his retirement when playing in 2019, and since then he has worked as an expert on German television.
Ivanović is the founder of a natural beauty brand.
They welcomed their son, Luca, in 2018, followed by his second son, Leon, the following year.
