Frontier Airlines passengers to Puerto Rico feared ‘the end’ after wheel broke off during hard landing

The terrified passengers aboard a Frontier Airlines flight from Florida feared “was the end” when one of the wheels of the plane broke during a landing at a scary moment captured in the camera.

Frontier Flight 5306 approached San Juan, Puerto Rico, when the 228 passenger plane landed at the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport before returning quickly on April 15.

Wharton had traveled to Florida with her husband and two children, 3 and 6, to visit the theme parks in the area.

The family did not expect their return trip of the holidays to become an experience close to death.

“For a few minutes I thought it was the end of our history here on Earth,” Wharton wrote on Facebook, with a video or passengers undoing the plane.

The mother of two two captured the sight through the window from her seat, which showed an orange shine under the plane while running the stripes of smoke fits the window.

The plane surrounded the airport four times before making a second attempt to land on a different track, according to the FlightAware flight radar site.

The plane approached 500 feet to the track, but it flew and made another circle around the area before landing successful at 10:54 pm4

Tuesday’s flight was more than an hour longer than the usual time that takes Orlando’s trip to Puerto Rico, according to the flight data.

The researchers applauded the work of the flight crew, claiming that their actions saved the plane from a worse end.
