Early Life: Chicago’s Artistic Influence

Growing up in Chicago, Eddie faced significant challenges from a young age, academic difficulties, family tensions, and shifting schools shaped his early years. Despite this, his passion for art thrived. His father’s skill in leather crafting and the encouragement from a supportive art teacher ignited Eddie’s creativity. He exhibited his work publicly and actively participated in his high school drama club and the Columbia College, Chicago soap opera.

Eddie’s time at Columbia College provided rigor and perspective. He worked as a bellhop in a prestigious downtown hotel, encountering entertainers and public figures, experiences that stoked his aspirations for Hollywood .

A Transformational Journey: Acting, Hypnotherapy, and Hollywood Aspirations

Shortly after college, Eddie moved to Los Angeles and honed his acting skills at Debbie Reynolds Studio under Daryl Hickman for three years. His dedication soon landed him roles in notable commercials, including one for Sunkist soda. Yet, he discovered the entertainment industry’s instability and explored alternative paths, bartending, sales, and even owning a private fitness center, searching for purpose and stability.

His life took an unexpected turn when a hypnosis session alleviated his anxiety, he found hypnotherapy “mysterious and powerful.” Pursuing this newfound calling, Eddie studied for a year at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, graduating with honors and becoming a certified clinical hypnotherapist. Over the past 12 years, he has guided more than 350 clients through issues like self-esteem, anxiety, phobias, and weight concerns.

This therapeutic work profoundly influenced his personal growth, enabling him to release anxiety, find focus, and rekindle his passion for acting. Around a decade ago, he returned to the screen, landing roles in TV and film productions .

Building a Legacy: Free Falling Productions and Filmmaking

Eddie’s ambition to shape his own narratives led him to start writing during the pandemic. In 2021, along with his fiancée Kris, he launched Free Falling Productions in Huntington Beach, California. The company’s debut feature, “Road to Terzetto”, is a suspenseful crime drama about estranged brothers meeting to claim their inheritance, only to face danger and deception. Eddie co-wrote, co-produced, and stars as “Johnny Z.” The film has received over 20 awards and is available on streaming platforms thanks to its distribution deal.

Eddie’s creative footprint includes award-winning short films and TV appearances on shows like The Young & The Restless, The Coroner, Modern Mafia, Palisades Justice, 9‑1‑1, The Mandalorian, and more. His résumé lists a range of characters, from detectives and mafia bosses to police captains and ghost roles—showcasing his adaptability as a performer .

Impact, Ambition, and the Road Ahead

Eddie’s dual profession—as an artist and hypnotherapist, reflects a commitment to authenticity and emotional resonance. He helps clients transform their lives while crafting films that reflect real human struggles and connections .

Looking ahead, Eddie has several shorts and feature scripts in development, including a TV pilot set in Chicago, his hometown dream project. His goal is to create content that bridges universal emotions with familiar settings, expanding further into production, acting, and writing.

Conclusion

Eddie Vincent’s journey, from an insecure, shy child in Chicago to a multifaceted creative entrepreneur in Hollywood, is marked by resilience and reinvention. Through art, therapy, and storytelling, he has crafted a career rooted in empowerment and creativity. As he continues to generate original content, perform authentic roles, and help others transform, Eddie remains a testament to the power of healing, vision, and storytelling.
