Seb Coe insists that female competition will be protected and preserved under its world athletics presidency
The biological sexual tests introduced by World Athletics to guarantee the integrity of female competition in the World Championship in Tokyo are almost complete.
Speaking two weeks before this year’s Big Event Event in Tokyo, the president of World Athletics, Seb Coe, says that 85% of the tests were held during the period of national championships in recent weeks, 90%.
The remaining athletes will be tested in the celebration of camps on the eve of the championships in Tokyo. Some of the tests, which are unique and non -invasive blood tests, are held at the Meetings of the Diamond League.
“The member federations have really chosen to be in the center of this and I am really grateful to the issue,” says Coe. “UKA performed most of his tests in the tests, for example.”

COE emphasizes: “It is not about gender tests. We are simply verifying female biology testing the identification of an Y chromosome. We need to do anything we can in athletics to preserve and protect the integrity of women’s sport and I am not prepared to do so.”
Sry gene tests were announced in July to determine if an athlete is eligible to compete in the women’s category.
COE was a speech at Diamond League in Zurich exactly a week before leaving to Tokyo, where he will enjoy, or maybe he will endure, a week of meetings of the Council and Congress before the Athletics Action begins on September 13.
“Ticket sales are Buyer,” he says, “and there are some sales sessions.
He adds: “We have an extraordinary world championships to expect. If the diamond league is something that athletes are the gift they continue to give. For some reason, we are, for some reason, the succinous potential from head to the head.”
Around 2000 athletes from more than 200 countries will compete with some of them that are already in their camps.

Tokyo will also form the climax of the season and COE promised that the New World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest in 12 months would be an equally exciting ending for summer.
COE says that a team of around 20 people has a leg dedicated to working in the Budapest event during the last two years and in an effort to understand what excites fans, there have been experiments in which spectators have the heart rate to see or face increases.
When asked about Grand Slam Track, COE pointed out the way in which the World Athletics Championship was executed and added: “If you exhibit really good field events, they are an additive instead of subtracting from experience.
“We had 8,000 people in the center of the city of Zurich last night (August 27) looking and were hypnotized and stayed until the last moment and they were part of the theater. I do not think our sport is just a follow -up and that is a great admission of a pound of pavement.”

In the unpaid invoices of Grand Slam Track, he added: “We are monitoring it and seeing it closely. But I know Michael and he wants to solve this as quickly as possible.”
Coe was also a Cenario on the Cooperator of Adolescent Prodigio Lutkenhaus, who ran 1: 42.27 at the age of 16 in the US Championship. UU. Recently to qualify for Tokyo. Time is faster than the first COE world record at a distance or 1: 42.33 in 1979 and said that Heary Heard hears about Lutkenhaus’s result in Monaco, thought it was a mistake.
“Extraordinary,” is how Coe describes it, adding: “It is happening in many sports at this time. In the last week, a couple of Premier League teams were playing two children aged 15 years old and one of them had so much impact that the game on Dying won.

“You just have to accept that there is an outstanding talent and that younger ones are like in the past and it is likely to be a good quality coaching will.
“A warning is the biggest challenge and the highest wear period is the age of 16 to 17 years for the high -level ranks. The sobering statistics that we have always seen is that most athletes who even win medals in the World Junior champions do not even reach their senior national team two or three years later.
“Then, the handling of those athletes when they show such a prodigious talent at an unexpected age, you can sit and celebrate it, but it also raises some great challenges for the training structure and, sometimes, the care of the parents, so look so that for you that is to you to your conds. At 40 years and say ‘yes, I was really good for a season’.

Finally, COE was interrogated about the careers to organize the 2029 World Championship, but refused to be attracted too much. “London has launched is the ring, but we have some quite powerful global cities that are interested.”
