Clayton Young is one of my favorite athletes. He is positive and has never turned down an interview with me, which I appreciate. At the humid World Championships in Tokyo, Clayton gave the assembled media a careful summary of his career, which did not go as planned. Clayton is a class act.

congratulations for streams and Young Clayton Find a win-win situation!

I have always thought that Clayton Young will be a world marathon medalist.

Brooks welcomes Clayton Young and takes important step forward on performance-driven roster

Today, running streams announced the signing of the elite marathoner Young Clayton to its roster of road stars, marking a significant development in the high-performance racing brand’s strategy, which prioritizes the team to become a leader at the highest level of competition. Young will bring his data-driven technical approach to footwear and performance to collaborate with the brands’ athlete performance and innovation development teams. Young will look to add to his already decorated career in partnership with Brooks, including the NCAA Championship title in the 10,000m, a second-place finish at the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials, a top-10 finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics and a three-time top-10 finisher at the World Majors.

The same intentional, detail-oriented, data-driven approach that the world has seen in me as I prepared and competed on race day can also be found in my decision to partner with Brooks,” said Clayton Young. “I’m excited about the opportunities and innovation Brooks presents to compete at the highest level, as well as the opportunities to engage with the running community and inspire the next generation.”

Young’s passion for the future of sport, both through youth running and product innovation, will become key pillars of his partnership with Brooks.
