British are part of a strong diamond league that presents six Olympic gold reigning medalists

The fifth meeting of the Wanda Diamond League of 2025, on Sunday (May 25) in Rabat, sees that the series increases a level with six Olympic reigning champions in action, in addition to Femke Bol making its summer and British debut as Molly Cauduare and Max.

The winners of Paris 2024 in the Moroccan city are: Sprinter Letile Tebogo or Botswana, 800m Men Emmanuel Wanyonyi or Kenya, Distance runner Beatrice Chebet of Kenya, Miller Quincy Hall fourth of The United Stateser, Highpleshaer Kerr of New Zealand.

Burgin faces one of these athletes, Wanyonyi, in an 800 -meter stacked man who also includes Tshepiso Masalela or Botswana, the winner in Doha last week, more the twice champion of the Commonwealth Wyclife Kinyamal of Kenya.

Burgin has the habit of starting his season with style, but he has managed to shake the problems of Achilles that bother him last year. However, despite handling the injury, he still managed to reach the Olympic final, which was won by Wanyonyi in a 1: 41.19 blistering when Burgin finished eighth in 1: 43.84 after 1: 43.50 bp in his semi.

The world champion of Hurdles Bol begins his summer season against the Jamaicans Rushell Clayton and Andrenette Knight, among others.

In the 800m female, Tsige Dugma will hope to continue his good start of the season after a world that led 1: 56.64 to break the Ethiopian record in China earlier this month.
