Estée Lauder Opens Paris Fragrance Atelier to Accelerate Luxury Scent Innovation

THE FACT THAT? The Estée Lauder Companies has opened its new Fragrance Atelier in The House of Perfumes in Paris, establishing a global center for research, creation and innovation driven by fragrance technology.

THE DETAILS Launched under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Atelier integrates creative and scientific teams to accelerate fragrance development by up to 50%. The 2,000 square meter facility uses artificial intelligence models, neuroscience tools and advanced extraction technologies to enhance innovation at brands such as Jo Malone London, TOM FORD, Le Labo, KILIAN PARIS and Frédéric Malle.

The new site expands Estée Lauder’s global R&D network and strengthens its six-decade presence in France, which serves as a key base for the company’s European operations and luxury fragrance portfolio.

THE WHY? The Paris Atelier underscores Estée Lauder’s investment in luxury fragrance innovation and reinforces France’s role as a strategic hub for global beauty research and craftsmanship.
