THE FACT THAT? Galderma has said that the current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are unlikely to significantly affect its business despite the region being a focus of growth for the company.

THE DETAILS According to CEO Flemming Ornskov, the Middle East currently represents less than 2% of Galderma’s total business. The Swiss skincare company has recently expanded in the region, including entering Saudi Arabia and strengthening its presence in the United Arab Emirates.

Ornskov noted that while the current conflict may temporarily slow momentum, the company still sees strong long-term opportunities in both dermatological skin care products and injectable aesthetic products. Galderma reported strong financial performance, with full-year net sales increasing 17.7%, also supporting positive 2026 guidance.

THE WHY? Despite geopolitical uncertainty, Galderma continues to see the Middle East as a promising market for future expansion in dermatology and aesthetic treatments.
