THE FACT THAT? Kiko Milano has appointed former LVMH executive Mikael Guery as president for France, Belgium and the Netherlands, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand in its key European markets.

THE DETAILS Guery succeeds Hugues Laurençon and will oversee Kiko Milano’s operations across nearly 200 stores across the three countries, with responsibility for driving business growth and expanding the retail network. He joins the Italian cosmetics brand after holding senior positions at DFS and Sephora within the LVMH group, followed by a brief tenure as CEO of pharmaceutical distributor Phoenix OCP. The appointment comes as Kiko Milano accelerates its international growth under the leadership of majority shareholder L Catterton. Founded in 1997, the brand now operates almost 1,500 stores in more than 70 countries and generated almost one billion euros in revenue in 2025.

THE WHY? The appointment reflects Kiko Milano’s continued investment in experienced retail leadership as it scales its European operations. Recruiting executives with experience in luxury and beauty retail is becoming an increasingly important strategy for brands looking to strengthen their market share and accelerate international expansion.
