L’Oréal to Acquire Majority Stake in British Skincare Brand Medik8

The fact that? L’Oréal Groupe has signed an agreement to acquire a majority participation in Mediak8, a premium skin care brand based in the United Kingdom known for its formal and professional heritage directed by science.

The details Founded by Elliot Isaacs, Mediak8 is widely recognized by its vitamin C regime, sunscreen and vitamin A and its crystalline retinal serum. The brand operates in professional and retail channels in Europe, with a growing distribution in the United States. The inflection will retain a minority participation, and the current leadership, including the founder, will remain in place after the order.

Medk8 will join the luxury division of L’Oréal, which has focused more and more to expand its presence in skin care with high efficacy support and supported by science. The transaction includes provisions for L’Oréal to acquire full property in the future. The completion is pending of the regulatory approach.
