Natura Sells Avon’s Central America Business to Grupo PDC

The fact that? Natura has agreed to uninverting Avon’s operations in Central America and the Dominican Republic for PDC Group as part of its restructuring strategy.

The details The transaction, with a price of $ 1 plus a payment receivable of $ 22 million from Avon Guatemala, covers businesses in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, a collectively known card. Natura will continue to supply finished products to the buyer and perform as a licoroner of the AVON brand in the region.

The sale follows a series of divestments, including Aesop and The Body Shop, while the company works to rationalize its portfolio. The announcement promoted Natura shares more than 3 percent higher in the Bovespa index, exceeding 1.1 percent of the reference point.
