Natura to Sell Avon International to Regent, Refocus on Latin America

The fact that? Natura has signed a binding agreement to sell its international Avon operations in Europe, Africa and Asia to the Private Capital firm Regent. Avon Russia is excluded from the agreement and remains a hero for sale.

The details The divestment, subject to the regulatory approach, marks the final stage of the Natura Corporate Simplification Program launched in 2022. Avon International has been in restructuring, while Natura will retain control of the brand and intellectual property in Latin America. The company recently sold the assets of AVON Central America and Caribbean to Grupo PDC.

Why? By eliminating international operations, Natura reinforces its strategy to concentrate in Latin America, where the integration of AVON with Natura is offering efficiency profits and brand repositioning efforts are being made. The measure intends to strengthen the leadership of Natura in the region and allow Avon to seek renewed growth under regent.
