Trump Mobile, President Trump’s eponymous cell phone provider and smartphone maker, is reportedly leaking customer data, including mailing addresses and email addresses.

On Tuesday, YouTubers cafezilla and penguin0Those who said they ordered the gold T1 phone from Trump Mobile said they had been alerted by a researcher who found the exposed data online.

“I know this because, unfortunately, I’m one of those customers whose mailing address, email address, you know, everything other than the credit card number is being leaked,” said Coffeezilla, who rose to fame. investigating crypto scams. “Do not order from trumpmobile.com unless you are prepared to have your information leaked. It’s basically that bad.”

The two YouTubers said they ordered the T1 smartphone out of curiosity, not because they support the president and his business efforts. Now, like other Trump Mobile customers, their information has been leaked.

Both said they were alerted to the leak by a source, who shared their personal information to prove they actually had access to it. The investigator told them that they couldn’t locate anyone at Trump Mobile, so the problem hasn’t been fixed yet. “We have all encountered radio silence,” penguinz0 said.

Both YouTubers did not explain how the hackers were able to access the data because they said it was very easy to do so and that the data is still available online.

Trump Mobile did not respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment.

The phone has been plagued with problems since day one. 404 Media, e.g. I tried to order the T1 when it was announced and the order page crashed and charged the wrong amount.
