Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the former CEO of Crypto Exchange Binance, said that most European countries move “anywhere” in terms of the adoption of digital currencies.
Speaking at the Token2049 conference in Dubai on April 30, Zhao said that the areas of the United Arab Emirates were “extremely pro-negocios”, which led to cryptographic adoption in Dubai, while others like Bután were building national pilas. According to Zhao, the United States was pressing the hands of another country by exploring its own policies for a cryptography reserve, but those that in Europe did not seem to be reacting.
“I don’t see Europe in this discussion,” said Zhao, highlighting an exception. “Montenegro is actually quite pro-Christo. We had an active dialogue with [the] Prime Minister there, and is a very advanced person, leader. But apart from Montenegro, I have no other, he is the son of disappearance on the map. “
Zhao, who has a house in Dubai, resigned as CEO of Binance in November 2023 as part of a guilt agreement with US authorities who pursue charges against exchange. Since Binance left and turned four months in prison in the United States, it has become more involved with its educational platform, Giggle Academy.
