Michael Dalton is CEO of Ovatient – an Epic-based telehealth company spun out of health systems (Medical University of South Carolina and Metro Health, Cleveland, OH). It does the integration and continuity of care between your medical group and the health systems (a bit like KeyCare which also serves the health system). I asked him why it is different from other telehealth companies. Those systems wanted something integrated into their own technology stack, that could bill insurance, etc. Their clients use Medicaid, cash, Blue Cross, etc. He told me about the patient experience, how they come to Ovatient, and how the company works.Matthew Holt
