The complaint is successful. In addition to the important human impacts, research shows that commitment leads to a 20% -30% increase in the use of medical care.

The complaint is also common. While we may not like to talk about it, 37% of Americans are crying recently. The United States averaged 3.26 million deaths per year in the last five years and the data suggest that an average of nine people cry a single death. The CDC began to measure the duel for the first time in 2021, but most health plans do not yet measure the incidence or cost of the complaint.

Then we decided to take a look. Here is only something we find.

When a member is Beaveado, the health plans, especially those that serve older adults, see significant leaps in the use and costs in multiple categories of claims. Examples include:

● 51% increase in visits to the emergency department and a 43% increase in hospitalizations For accused spouses whose partners died in the hospital
● 67% Higer risk level for psychiatric hospitalization in the first year of Bea Rement For parents who have lost a child
● 74% of husbands and 67% of wives are hospitalized at least once In the nine years after the death of his spouse
● 463% more probabilities or antidepressant use For people who have a diagnosis of prolonged complaint disorder

These increases lead to increasing claims costs that add up quickly, especially in 65+ populations. But what are these costs? And what can insurers do to mitigate them?

To make visible the hidden costs of the thesis, my Help Texts team created a tool that health plans can use to model Beagement’s financial impacts. With only members of members, the commitment cost calculator of the help texts will estimate a health plan:

● projected by member per month (PMPM) increased costs after beanage
● Total impact on cost or complaint when there is no provincial intervention
● The estimated savings when the plans provide the clinicular sound of aid texts, scalable, full support for accumulated members

Consider a Medicare advantage plan with 250k 65 -year -old members. I should wait:

● 11,500 members will be crying the death of a couple or child
● 81,500 members to cry other losses (for example, father, brother, friend)
● Average PMPM increase (without intervention): $ 110
● Total estimated impact on the cost of the first year (without intervention): $ 123 million
● Estimated first year savings with help texts: $ 1.3M

What can a health plan do to save money and improve care and results for its members? The numbers are powerful, which shows that the complaint is expectation, but also that Bishivement presents a clear opportunity to provide a shocking upstream intervention that can save millions, while attending people who last what is the best time.

Help Texts is a clinical intervention of sound, scalable and grieving. With subscribers in 59 countries and the 50 states, the help of text messages offers support for affordable multilingual complaints through the text message. With extraordinary retention rates (95%) and 6 months retention (90%), helping the light weight solution of the texts facilitates that health plans and others improve the results of health and community, while realizing the.

Health plans, particularly Medicare Advantage plans, can use the new commitment cost calculator of help texts to estimate the true cost of the reference and their cost savings when the support of the complaints is provident. He Cost calculator of help texts Discover the savings potential by caring for afflicted members. In less than a minute, you can begin to see how much the bonus costs and how much could be saved by supporting the members who hurt the loss of a loved one.

Because the true cost of commitment is not only emotional, it is also financial. And for health plans, addressing both is the smartest investment you can do.
