When it comes to nostalgic autumn desserts, nothing exceeds a classic and easy apple crumble. Warm and striking, it is the best combination of sweet apples with a butter and more crumblebable toping. Add an ice cream ball on top and …Chef’s kiss– Perfection.
After throwing enough turbultations in my day, I thought it was time to share my best apple crumble recipe. While an ode to the classic, I take some steps to maximize the taste and make this the most delicious apple in the history of history. Trust me, you will make this recipe throughout the season.

Easy apple crumble easy ingredients
- Apples. Granny Smith is my agricultural bite, balances the sweetness of the crumble.
- Lemon. Only a squeeze illuminates everything.
- Spices. Canela, ginger, nutmeg, a splash or vanilla … use what you have, but do not jump them, they bring all the heat.
- Maple syrup. Add wealth and a deeper sweetness that combines perfect with apples.
- Brown sugar. A little for the filling, a little more for crumble.
- White sugar. As in a classic cookie of chocolate sparks, the mixture of brown and white sugar gives the crumble the perfect texture.
- Oatmeal. The rolled oatmeal adds that rustic crunch and Heary that I love.
- Walnuts. Totally optional, but I can’t resist additional crunch.
- Salt. A pinch makes each taste establish.
- Butter. Neighborhood if you can, take the taste to another level.

Easy apple crumble, step by step
The first is the first: Dora the butter. You will know that he is ready when he out of exploding and bubbled to calm and golden, just take it so that he does not burn. Let it cool completely, then take it in the refrigerator (or freezer) to solidify before the crumble coverage. Trust me, the taste is unmatched.
Next: apples. I tried this recipe in some ways: cut slices, thin and thicker wedges. The winner? Thick grease. They maintain their shape, bake soft and give the best texture. That said, ask them at the beginning of what you want. This crumble will be delicious in any way.
And now, the show star: the topping crumble. Basically it is your favorite oatmeal cookie disguised: soft and chewable below, crunchy and crunchy at the top. It is not too sweet, perfectly balances the spicy apples and the spoonful of ice cream that you will definitely want at the top.
