Born on July 31, 1984, in Bayaguana, Monte Plata Province, Dominican Republic, Ana Rita Contreras Sosa exhibited a passion for design and aesthetics from a young age. Her academic journey began at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Santo Domingo, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Architecture. Pageantry Pursuits

Parallel to her architectural endeavors, Ana ventured into the world of beauty pageants. In 2006, she represented the province of Barahona in the Miss Dominican Republic pageant, securing the Miss Communication award. Three years later, representing Monte Plata, she achieved first runner-up in Miss Dominican Republic 2009. When Miss Mundo Dominicana 2009 faced cancellation due to financial constraints, Ana was appointed to represent the Dominican Republic at Miss World 2009. Ana’s professional trajectory is marked by significant roles in various sectors. She served as Subdirectora at the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, emphasizing her dedication to consumer protection. Her tenure at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) as a Senior Associate allowed her to refine her analytical and strategic skills.
