Spring recruiting season ends early with continued decline in agent movement

MAY KEY OBSERVATIONS

• Decline of the season after peak: Instead of stagnating after March and April, the agent’s mobility seems to be falling beyond. The May index suggests that the traditional spring impulse is not only delayed, it is likely that it has already passed and at levels well below normal.

• Continuous weakness in gross mobility: The raw monthly AMI (not adjusted) (agent movement index) also decreased from April, which reinforces the tendency of the decrease in movement despite the active recruitment season of historical interference. This change occurs when a growing brokerage number reports softer pipes and longer decision cycles of experienced agents.

• The active agents count remains stable: The number of active agents, those with a closure in the last 12 months, remained relatively stable, suggested that, although the agents stay, they left the industry on scale in recent months.

“We have left the maximum recruitment window, and this year it arrived softer and ended faster than we have seen in years,” said Rob Keefe, founder of Reititix. “What stands out is not only the low level of switching activity, but how sharply it falls last year. These observations are based directly on the reports of Relitix in recent months, which have constantly highlighted a pattern or mobility of restricted agent, particularly marked by weak seasonal rebounds in traditional recruitment periods.

Strategic ideas for brokerage leaders and recruiters

• Prepare for a quiet summer: The movement of the agent generally slows down in the summer, but this year’s decline suggests that the activity may be quieter than usual. Recruitment equipment must emphasize short -term gains expectations.

• Double retention: With less in motion agents, brokerage value propositions (coaching, culture, lead generation and support) will be critical not only to attract new agents but also retain the current ones.

• Be attentive to delayed movement: If the movement is completely delayed, ThanGone, at the end of summer or early fall, can provide a renewed opportunity. Monitoring changes in the trend will be essential to plan dissemination efforts.

These findings are based on the launch of April, which already showed a lower spring increase than expected. May numbers confirm that the traditional recruitment season reached its early maximum point, at a significant level compared to the years of years.
