Charles Barkley on gay athletes: ‘You’re just stupid’ if you don’t think there’s more players in NFL, NBA, MLB

“Kenny, to be fair, if another guy did it, it would still be a big problem, because we live in a homophobic society. That’s unfortunate. First of all, anyone who thinks we don’t have a ton of gay players in all of sports, they’re just stupid. There’s so much animosity toward the gay community, and that’s what’s really unfortunate. If anyone thinks about it, and I know a couple of football players who came out, if you don’t believe it. There are more gay players in the NFL, the Major Leagues Baseball and the NBA; you are just stupid.”
