Elon Musk has responded to singer Billie Eilish’s recent comments in which she criticized the billionaire’s management of her wealth. He used profanity in his post, criticizing Musk for not using it for social purposes.

On November 17 Elon Musk He took to X, a platform he owns, to respond to Eilish’s comments. He responded to a post from the “Billie Eilish Tours” account, which included screenshots of the singer’s latest comments, and wrote:

“She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.”

Musk’s comments were referring to Eilish’s Instagram Story from Nov. 13, where she shared a My Voice My Choice post. The post included multiple wellness-focused things the billionaire could do using his wealth after becoming a billionaire, including rebuilding Gaza, ending world hunger, providing universal clean water, finding cures for diseases, and saving endangered species. Additionally, Eilish wrote:

“You pathetic cowardly p***yb****.”

According to Forbes, Elon Musk He is the richest man in the world, with a net worth of $470.5 billion. He is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and the artificial intelligence startup xAI. In 2022, Musk also bought X, formerly called Twitter, adding to his empire worth billions.


Billie Eilish urges billionaires to redistribute their wealth for public welfare

On October 29, 2025, Billie Eilish received the Music Innovator Award at WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Awards. After receiving his honor for his contribution to music, Eilish took the opportunity to send a message to the billionaires, urging them to donate their wealth for public welfare. She said:

“We’re in a time where the world is very, very bad and very dark and people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country. I would say that if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, maybe give it to some people who need it.”

The audience at the Museum of Modern Art that night included several wealthy people, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. According to Forbes, Zuckerberg has a net worth of $206.6 billion, making him the sixth richest man in the world. Other wealthy people in the crowd included Karlie Kloss, Hailey Bieber, George Lucas, Spike Lee, Chris Rock and Ben Stiller.

After the tribute to Billie Eilish, it was also announced that the singer donated 11.5 million dollars from his earnings from the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. Speaking about Eilish’s contributions, Stephen Colbert, while introducing her during the show, said:

“I also have the privilege of breaking a little news tonight. Thank you, Billie, for allowing me to do this. It’s extraordinary. Billie Eilish will be donating proceeds from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to support organizations, projects and voices dedicated to food equity, climate justice, reducing carbon pollution and fighting the climate crisis. That donation, ladies and gentlemen, will be $11.5 million. That’s wonderful. Billie, on behalf of human beings around the world, thank you.”

The funds will be used to address causes such as climate change, carbon pollution and food equity. Proceeds from his tour will also be added to the Changemaker Program and Reverb, which is a non-profit environmental organization working to decrease emissions from live music through the Music Decarbonization Project.
