Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In classrooms filled with laughter, curiosity, and determination, something remarkable is happening. Children as young as six are turning the pages of adventure books and stepping into a future where English isn’t just a subject it’s a bridge to opportunity.
At the heart of this movement is Super Bilingual Kids, a program founded by Jeanne Bender, author of the beloved Lindie Lou Adventure Series. What began as a simple love for storytelling has now become a mission to give underprivileged children in Mexico access to English as a second language and with it, the chance for brighter careers, stronger communities, and global connections.
With support from community contributions and a personal commitment, Jeanne recently equipped the program with 20 tablets and headsets, ensuring children in Cabo San Lucas can learn interactively. Four classes of 20 students are already underway, and the vision is to expand across Mexico and eventually the world.
“By speaking English and being bilingual, children can better their lives with better jobs and better futures,” says Jeanne. “And through the Lindie Lou stories, they also discover the joy of adventure, imagination, and the belief that their dreams are possible.”
The Lindie Lou Adventure Series already embraced by young readers across the globe teaches values of courage, curiosity, and resilience. Now, these stories are not only igniting imaginations but also serving as the foundation for bilingual learning in schools.
From Mexico today to classrooms worldwide tomorrow, the mission is clear: empower children, break barriers, and build a generation that can dream in every language.
