Anaheim’s police fatally shot a man on Wednesday night after a high -speed persecution that ended when he crashed his truck on a bridge over the Santa Ana River, authorities said.
The persecution begged shortly after 7:45 pm when the officers responded to a shooting in a motel in the block 300 of North Brookhurst street, according to the sergeant of the Anaheim police. Matt Sutter. The victim of motel shooting, a man, was tasks for a stable hospital.

The officers led in a wild persecution, blowing intersections, hitting other vehicles, weaving through traffic and losing a tire, according to the video captured by a Ktla news Helicopter.
The man ran along the 91 highway in a white van before approaching the streets of surface, where police officers made several failed attempts to stop the truck, the station reported.
After a persecution of almost an hour, the search ended near West Memory Lane and North Bristol Street, Sutter said, about eight miles from the shooting.
The police placed on a bridge over the Santa Ana River executed a boxing maneuver, strategically heating the side of the suspect truck and sending it to a guard rail. He returned to the road, hitting a bridge divisor and rested, according to Ktla.
When the smoke left the vehicle, the officers rushed to surround him. The police opened fire at 8:38 pm, and the driver was declared dead on the scene, Sutter said.
A passenger in the car surrendered to the police and was escorted, Ktla reported.
Information about suspect identities and the shooting victim was not immediately available.
