It doesn’t go much crazier than Friday Diamondbacks-Cubs on Friday.
Throughout six tickets, the puppies had a 2-1 advantage in what seemed to be a game of mid-April in Wrigley Field.
Then things hit the fan.
Chicago dropped a place of five at the bottom of the seventh inning, apparently moving the diamondbacks forever.
Arizona would recover and then a half entrance later, exploiting for 10 races during a rally for the ages at the top of the eighth entrance to take an advantage of 11-7.
The career bombardment did not stop there.
The puppies would counteract with a six-run rally at the bottom of the eighth entrance, taking up the advantage, 13-11.
The teams combined for seven homers, including two Grand Slams of the bats of Eugenio Suárez and Ian Happ.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. also added a three -run house that ran that eighth diamondbacks Wild Diamondbacks.
A combined 12 players had multiple hits in the game.
It was the first time this season, both teams scored more than 10 races in a game.
