Dwight Howard is putting the Boston Celtics in Match Watch.
The former star of Orlando Magic star is choosing his former team to disturb the Celtics in seven games during his first round series in the NBA playoffs of 2025.
Howard says in his podcast: “D12 above the edge”, that the magical defense will be the reason for what would be an impressive first round discomfort.
“Who will stop a healthy Paolo? [Banchero] In a series of seven games? “Hey asked his coanfitations.

“Derrick White,” one of them replied, to which Howard replied: “Trippin.” It is very small. “
Howard was beaten with “Jaylen Brown”, to which he again, “hello very little.”
Howard also added: “Who will stop Jalen? [Suggs] Of playing defense? ”
While Suggs is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, it is out for the season with a knee injury.
The argument that Howard should probably do is that Orlando defends Boston better than all in the NBA.
The magic allows the least amount of attempts of 3 points per 100 possessions (32.5), while the Celtics shoot more and far (50).
Orlando has also defeated Boston, the reigning champions, in six of his last nine meetings that date back to December 2022.

With Suggs and Mo Wagner outside, it would be even more shocking if the magic achieved this, only the fact that they are 13 points of less for game 1 in Boston and +2200 to win the series, while the defending champion is -8000, for Fanduel.
Howard, who was chosen for the Basketball Hall of Basketball 2025, was chosen No. 1 in general by the Magic in the 2004 NBA Draft and starred in the team until its game after the 2011-12 season.
Howard was four times defensive player of the year and eight times All-Star while he was in the NBA, and took the magic to the NBA 2009 finals, where they live for the Lakers led by Kobe Bryant in five games.
The old center, of course, played with Bryant in the 2012-13 season, but the experiment was poorly executed as the team spectacularly out of the first round in the playoffs, and Howard went to the Houston Rockets after a season.
