A FDNy fire truck from an elite company hit and killed a cyclist out of a park in Queens on Saturday while responding to a call, according to the authorities.

The victim’s body, which according to the sources were about 50, was crushed under the truck of rescue company 4 and were declared dead on the scene, according to the police.

Police said the fire truck had the lights and sirens on while responding to a call shortly after 4 pm on Saturday. Brigitte Stelzer

The photos show sheets that cover the rear wheels of the service vehicle where the victim’s body was still trapped.

The truck had lights and sirens, since they were responding to a call just after 4 pm on Saturday, according to the police.

While the truck revolved to Juniper Boulevard next to Juniper Valley Park when the cyclist left behind a car and got into the side of the truck, finishing under the rear wheels, according to police sources.

Rescue Company 4, founded in 1931, is one of the most elite companies in the FDNY, According to the flame hall.

The historic unit lost eight firefighters while responding to World Trade Center on September 11.

An investigation into the tragic traffic incident is ongoing.
