Ford halts shipments of F-150s, other models to China to avoid tariffs: report

Ford Motor has stopped the shipments of its SUV, trucks and sports cars to China as a result of President Trump tariffsHe Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people’s family with the matter.

This week, the company stopped the shipments of its Bronco SUV F-150 Raptors, Mustangs and Bronco built by Michigan, as well as Lincoln navigators made by Kentucky to China, according to the report.

According to the reports, Ford Motor stopped the shipments of his SUV, trucks and sports cars to China following the tariffs of President Trump. AP

China’s retaliation rates in response to import taxes in the United States have seen that these vehicles face a rate of up to 150%.

The car manufacturer was not promoted to a request for comments from Reuters Reuts.

Development occurs when American cars manufacturers rush ways to address Trump rates again, which is expected to Automobile abolish or manufacturers and parts suppliers equally.

Ford also exports motors and construction transmissions from USA to China, which according to the report will continue despite the pause of assembly vehicles exports.

It is also expected that its Lincoln Nautilus model, which will be manufactured in China, has continuous shipments, despite heavy tariffs, the report added.
